Reality Awaits Europe 2026

The album was made with producer Rick Rubin and expands the band’s familiar guitar-driven sound with more pronounced vocal processing, electronic textures and some of Julian Casablancas’ more experimental ideas.

Setlists can change from one night to the next, but the current tour is clearly designed to connect the band’s newest chapter with songs from Is This It, Room on Fire, First Impressions of Earth and The New Abnormal. That makes the Bologna date particularly relevant both for long-time listeners and for fans who discovered the group through more recent tracks such as “The Adults Are Talking.”

Unipol Arena is located in Casalecchio di Reno, immediately outside central Bologna, and regularly hosts major international concerts and arena-scale events. For this particular show, the venue has also announced enhanced rail connections between Bologna Centrale and Casalecchio Palasport, giving concertgoers an additional public-transport option for reaching the arena. 

The October 17 performance is especially notable because it is the only Italian stop announced for Reality Awaits Europe 2026. The European itinerary also includes arena dates in London, Amsterdam, Düsseldorf and Berlin before reaching Bologna.
