One Step from the Davis Cup Final

There is no group stage in Bologna. The Final 8 is a direct knockout competition, making both semi-finals decisive: win and the nation returns for Sunday's championship tie; lose and its 2026 Davis Cup campaign ends.

Italy won the previous three editions from 2023 through 2025 and returns as host and defending champion, but its presence in the semi-finals will depend on the result of its quarter-final against Korea Republic.
