An Open-Air Stage at the Ippodromo

Visarno Arena is the open-air concert site set inside the Ippodromo del Visarno, Florence's historic horse-racing track in the Parco delle Cascine. The hippodrome dates back to the late 19th century, while the dedicated music arena has hosted large-scale concerts since 2015, using the wide flat infield and an existing grandstand for spectator events.

The arena holds up to around 11,000 standing (about 7,100 seated) for daily concerts and acts as the central venue of Firenze Rocks, launched in 2017, as well as the Firenze Summer Festival. Over the years it has welcomed Guns N' Roses, Foo Fighters, Aerosmith, David Gilmour and Eddie Vedder, establishing itself as one of Italy's most important outdoor venues for international rock tours.

• Tram T1 — Cascine (Carlo Monni), then a 5-minute walk through the park.
• Buses — lines 17 and 57 serve the Cascine area.
• On foot / bike — about 2 km from Santa Maria Novella station, or one tram stop.
