For more than three decades the Forum in Assago has been Milan's default indoor arena for everything big: EuroLeague basketball, world tours, indoor tennis, family shows. Opened in 1990 and winner of the 1994 European Architecture Award for sporting venues, it now holds up to 15,800 spectators and goes by Unipol Forum after its latest naming-rights deal.
It is the home court of Olimpia Milano and a regular Italian stop for global headliners. Among the upcoming dates: Deep Purple, Placebo, Niall Horan and Laura Pausini.
The arena sits at the end of Metro M2 green line — Assago Milanofiori Forum — with a covered walkway straight to the entrances, around 35 minutes from central Milan. Big nights sell out fast; book ahead for the area you want.
