TM Stadium Nasional is the current name of the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, Malaysia's national stadium south of central Kuala Lumpur. It opened on 11 July 1998 as the centrepiece of the National Sports Complex built for the XVI Commonwealth Games, hosting the Games' opening and closing ceremonies. Today it anchors the KL Sports City precinct and stages national football matches and large touring concerts.

Getting there

The simplest route is the LRT Sri Petaling Line to Bukit Jalil station (SP17), which serves the KL Sports City complex. From the station it is about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the stadium via a covered pedestrian bridge. On event nights, allow extra time for crowds entering and leaving the station, and note that roads around the precinct can be congested if you arrive by car or ride-hailing.
