The Estadio Shakira is a temporary outdoor venue built inside the Iberdrola Music complex in the Villaverde district of southern Madrid. Designed by Danish studio BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) and unveiled in early 2026, it was conceived as a purpose-built pop-up arena for the Spanish leg of Shakira's Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour — an unusually large dedicated build for a single residency.
The site, branded Parque Macondo in tribute to García Márquez's fictional town, combines a 30,000-seat tiered grandstand with a 20,000-capacity standing arena plus curved canopied walkways linking food, family and leisure zones. It opened in September 2026 for an 11-date residency split between late September and early October, and is intended to remain in service for further large-scale concerts.
