Arena Santa Giuliana 2026
Events at Arena Santa Giuliana, Perugia
Arena Santa Giuliana, Perugia
Arena Santa Giuliana is an open-air arena just below the historic centre of Perugia, built in 1937 to a design by architect Giuseppe Lilli. Best known as the main evening stage of Umbria Jazz, one of Europe's longest-running jazz festivals, it hosts the 9pm headline concerts each July and welcomes big international names across jazz, pop and rock. The setting is relaxed and comfortable, with bars and a restaurant area just outside the gates and large screens helping sightlines from the back rows.
Getting there
The arena is centrally located: Perugia's railway station is about 1.3 km away, and the nearest bus stop, Via Fratelli Pellas, is served by several city lines. From the historic centre on the hill above, escalators lead down towards the arena, which makes combining an evening concert with a walk through the old town straightforward.
