Etihad Arena is an indoor arena on the Yas Bay waterfront of Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Designed by architects HOK and opened in January 2021, it is built around a flexible floor plan: modular seating lets operators scale the room from gatherings of around 500 people up to concerts and sporting events for 18,000, which is why its calendar mixes international touring acts, combat sports and family entertainment.

Getting there

Yas Island is roughly a 30-minute drive from central Abu Dhabi and about 15 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport. Bus 190 runs from the Abu Dhabi central bus station towards Yas Island in around 30–40 minutes, and from Yas Mall the arena is approximately a 15-minute walk. Taxis and ride-hailing services have designated drop-off points at the venue, and dedicated parking areas sit close to the arena on event days.
