Benidorm Fest 2027: Three Nights of Live Music

The 2027 edition follows the festival's established format of two semifinals followed by a grand final, where the qualifying artists compete for the title.

The first semifinal takes place on Tuesday, January 26, introducing the competition's opening performances. The second semifinal follows on Thursday, January 28, with another selection of artists seeking a place in the final.

Saturday, January 30, brings the grand final, when the remaining contestants return to the stage and the winner of Benidorm Fest 2027 is decided.

All three galas take place at the Palau d'Esports L'Illa in Benidorm. Visitors can choose which part of the competition they would like to attend, from the opening semifinal to the decisive final show.

The Artists Competing in Benidorm Fest 2027

The sixth edition features 18 selected acts, combining established performers with emerging names from Spain's contemporary music scene.

Among the most recognisable participants is Vicco, who returns to the competition after her 2023 appearance with "Nochentera", a song that became a major Spanish pop hit. Merche also joins the 2027 lineup, bringing her extensive experience in Spanish pop music.

Other confirmed artists include Isabel Aaiún, known for "Potra Salvaje", the electronic-pop duo Ladilla Rusa, and Bombai, whose music blends pop with Mediterranean influences. Andrés Koi, Chema Rivas, GALE, Pipiolas, Suzete and several other performers complete a lineup spanning different musical backgrounds.

The competing songs are scheduled to be unveiled on December 17, 2026, giving audiences an opportunity to discover the entries ahead of the live shows.

A Festival with a Growing Musical Legacy

Since its launch in 2022, Benidorm Fest has helped bring new songs and performers to a wider audience.

Previous winners include Chanel with "SloMo", Blanca Paloma with "Eaea", Nebulossa with "Zorra", Melody with "Esa diva", and Tony Grox & LUCYCALYS in 2026.

Although the competition has evolved beyond its original role as a Eurovision selection event, it continues to provide a national platform for Spanish music, combining live performances, television production and audience participation.

For the 2027 edition, the winning entry will receive the festival's traditional bronze microphone trophy and a financial prize of €150,000, shared between the performers and songwriters.
