One of Italy’s most eagerly awaited and coolest festivals is finally back: MILANO ROCKS 2022. After announcing the only date of Liberato, the festival in Milan will host on Saturday 10 September 2022, during its second day, the international dj and producer Martin Garrix, the reference artist of the urban scene Ghali, while it will be up to dj Justin Mylo and the trio of producers Room9 to open the big party at Ippodromo Snai San Siro in Milan.

One of the most successful young DJs and producers on the pop and electronic scene, Dutchman Martin Garrix has taken his music and experience all over the world, headlining international festivals and collaborating with major stars including Tove Lo, Dua Lipa, Khalid and Bono and The Edge, among others.

Founder of his own label (STMPD RCRDS), owner of a studio complex in Amsterdam and mentor to up-and-coming artists, the 25-year-old made his name in 2013 with the single ‘Animals’, which topped the global charts, reaching number one on Beatport 100, and then climbed the dance music charts across continental Europe, as well as the traditional singles hit-list, entering the Belgian Ultratop 50 chart and debuting at number one on the Official Singles Chart.

Since then, Martin Garrix has sold over 10 million records, released worldwide hits, received several awards – including Best Electronic and Best World Stage Performance at MTV EMAS 2016, and reached #1 on Dj Mag’s top 100 chart several times. In 2021 he had the world talking for the single “We Are the People” co-written with Bono and The Edge of U2 and chosen as the official anthem of the 2020 European Football Championship.
